Werner Reuteler was born 1942 in Bern, Switzerland. Trained as an Engineer he emigrated to Zimbabwe in 1964 to start up an engineering company. Vacations in Zimbabwe's numerous nature reserves awakened his passion for the African bush and its animals. In the past 30 years he has spent a considerable amount of time in the wilderness. Werner has received important awards
